Equipment and Machines
Gustav Glaser Machine Works designs, manufactures and distributes equipment, machines and parts for industrial and municipal applications. We are an American manufacturing company that traces our roots to 1920.
Ownership
Gustav Glaser started marketing under the Glasco brand in 1920 and CEO Walter Trommler added UV products in 1965. Today, Gustav Glaser's Machine Works, LLC (NY) is owned by Walter's grand daughter, Beth Donnellan. Walter's two daughters were also entrepreneurs both running successful design businesses in NY.
Values
We operate on values and business ethics that were taught to us by Walter Trommler. Walter, a 1932 NYU Commerce College graduate, specialized in quality, efficiency and accounting. His grand and great grandchildren are active in the business.
Glasco Equipment Corporation is still owned by the Trommler estate. While the Glasco UV company was sold and is currently owned by DeNora, our legacy continues.
Current Offerings
UV disinfection products for the water and wastewater markets. We distribute the Sunlight Systems / Siemens UV Municipal product lines, other manufacturer's equipment and our own products under the UVSYSCO brand name.

What we have made and sold
From the beginning, we have represented, invented, sold and manufactured metal goods and machines. The following is a link to some of those products for the baking, confectionary, textile, chemical and new industries.

From the start as a manufacturer's representative in 1906, the Gustav Glaser Co's have provided metal parts and products to a wide range of industries over the last 100 years. This website captures that history and shows the beginnings of our current UV specialty company, which started in 1965. Today's products are under the UVSYSCO brand.
